Bridgeport's Backyard - Saint Mary's By the Sea

You'll be more than pleased with all of the activities and destinations located only a short distance from the Riverwalk Condominiums. While the Bridgeport area is a place to live for some, it is a vacation destination for others. If you are the outdoorsy type, then the one area you will want to spend most of your time in is Saint Mary's By the Sea, located in the Black Rock neighborhood.

Birds and wildlife are all viewable by the developed walkway. The views of Long Island Sound and Black Rock Harbor are simply breathtaking. The half mile walkway is ideal for a leisurely stroll or a regular jog. The beach, itself, is gorgeous. There is no fee to get in and no concession stands or vendors crowding the sand, making it almost serene.

The best thing about this beach, and this area, is its personality. In the late 1800's and early 1900's, St. Mary's became a destination for wealthy merchants and businessmen. To this day, many of their homes still remain standing, lending way to a very historical feel in the Black Rock neighborhood.

St. Mary's history, along with its unspoiled views, makes this location a hidden treasure. Living in Bridgeport, CT could mean having this private getaway right in your backyard. If you are interested in coming to take a look at the Riverwalk Condominiums, please don't hesitate to give me a call.

  1. With havin so much content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of exclusive content I've either authored myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement. Do you know any methods to help protect against content from being ripped off? I'd genuinely appreciate it. yahoo sign in
